The Ferrari Challenge is a spec series, meaning all drivers race identical Ferrari 296 Challenge cars. They all race on track at the same time, but are divided into 4 different classes, based on their experience level and speed. They are only competing for position against the cars in their class. You can tell what class a car is in by looking at the colored strip across the top of the windshield.

CLASSES

Pirelli – Red – The fastest and most experienced drivers.

Pirelli AM – White – Experienced drivers who aren’t quick enough for Pirelli.

Shell – Yellow – The fastest inexperienced drivers. Mitchell races in this class.

Shell AM – Black – Inexperienced drivers who aren’t quick enough for Shell.

LIVE TIMING

At most weekends, live timing is available on your phone so that you can monitor position, lap times and gaps. I will put a link here once I find out what system they’re using or you can check our usual system here.

LIVE BROADCAST

Most weekends, the race broadcast is shown live on YouTube. This may be different because it’s an F1 weekend. If the broadcast is available, it will be streaming at live.ferrari.com
